Hondenoppas Colm uit Amsterdam
I grew up with dogs from the age of two, starting with a Golden Retriever we raised together, then a Cairn Terrier through my teens and early adulthood. Since then I’ve lived across the world, fostering and caring for dogs along the way, including a Harrier in Dublin. Since moving to Amsterdam three years ago I’ve chosen to look after other people’s dogs rather than have my own.
As you can see from my photos, I’ve had adventures with all kinds of dogs, from small terriers and Jack Russells to Labradoodles, Vizslas, and Golden Retrievers. Several owners come back to me again and again, which I think says it all.
I’m self-employed and work from home, so your dog is never alone. I’m attentive to the details that matter: regular bathroom breaks, fresh water always available, and plenty of cuddles. My apartment near Oosterpark is calm and pet-free, and the park is a five-minute walk for daily runs and off-lead time.
