I am originally from South Africa and have always been surrounded by animals, especially dogs and cats. Growing up with cats and raising two big Dobermans has given me a lot of hands-on experience with pets of different personalities, sizes, and needs. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them comes very naturally to me.
My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for dogs and the joy they bring into everyday life. Since moving away from South Africa, I deeply miss my own dogs, and spending time with pets helps me feel connected to home. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their animals are safe, happy, and loved while they are away, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.
I have previous pet sitting experience in South Africa, where I cared for both dogs and cats by feeding them, taking them for walks, playing with them, and ensuring they felt comfortable and secure in their environment. I offer daily walks tailored to your dog's energy level and needs, typically ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. I am flexible and happy to follow your pet's usual schedule, including feeding times, exercise routines, medication requirements, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away.
Your pet's safety is always my top priority. In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if necessary. I only accept vaccinated pets and strive to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for.
Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care.
